Lebanon is no exception to the spread of environmental awareness worldwide. Alfa, the Lebanese mobile operator, is extending its eco-friendly policies and introducing the new Alfa recharge card, which is a combination of four recharge cards in one package. This initiative is part of Alfa’s effort to create a paperless environment via eco-friendly solutions, stated the company’s CEO. This move is a good first step towards environmental awareness in Lebanon. Other initiatives undertaken by Alfa to develop its eco-friendly policies are the introduction of the M-Bill (sending invoices via SMS) and the ATM recharge.
